Description

Superb page from a landmark in British comics. A flashback to Book 1, and we learn the secret of Arkwright's birth and his kidnapping and his parent's death at the hands of the Disruptors (Talbot's love of old school Batman comics, coming through there).

The small newspaper cutting is a copy of the facsimile page from Book 1, which uses an image from my the Arkwright Book 1 process page, also on my CAF.

Pencil, ink, whiteout and watercolour with collage on Daler Board.
