What is this story, and who was it done for? It appears to be a particularly spectacular Warren strip, but you don't say. Background, please. Thanks for sharing this gem!

Mark, I put the description of these pages in the gallery room listing. Here it is: First four pages to a proposed 14-page story by Bruce Jones called "Odysseus Denied" that I think was for a Warren magazine, but must have been scrapped at some point because Russ never finished it. I've seen a 5th page, but nothing beyond that. I believe Russ did the penciled lettering too. Absolutely stunning work!

I've learned with Bruce Jones stories, the "pay off" comes at the end. But judging from this art, Heath was definitely building expectations. Great art !!! W O W !!!!
