There is justified (and fun) debate over who THE Superman artist is, or THE Batman artist... but in my opinion there can be no such debate when it comes to the Phantom Stranger. Jim Aparo is THE Phantom Stranger artist, period.

This out and out CLASSIC page is penciled, inked, and lettered by Aparo.

The Phantom Stranger panel is iconic. The haze running through the page adds to mystic feel.
