Description

RIP Steve Ditko -- truly a unique and innovative talent.

Ditko drew many horror/mystery stories for Charlton and this cover is a nice example from 1975. This is a bit unusual as it features a female protagonist as well as a church in the background -- neither of which are frequently seen in his work.

This image was used again for the cover of Ghostly Tales #147 in 1981.

I've owned this since 2001.

Very cool cover, Ted. And I agree with your statement re: female protagonist and church as rarities among Ditko’s work.
