Description

From the fourth season episode "Michelangelo Meets Bugman," where Michelangelo meets his comic book hero in real-life! In this scene, Michelangelo and Brick "Bugman" Bradley emerge from the Electrozapper's underground layer to have a climatic confrontation with the villain himself!

This cel features both Michelangelo and Bugman, but it looks like Electrozapper is part of the printed background. This is a handpainted painted acetate cel layered over background print. In this case, the supplied background almost identical to the original episode's context. These cels were sold framed in mats and protective plastic sleeves at various toy and department stores throughout the early 1990s under the "Animation Art" label. This cel was scanned inside the sealed plastic sleeve, so the image clarity suffers a bit. Also attached is a screencap from the Lionsgate DVD, showing the approximate cel in its final form at around the 20 minute, 38 second mark.
