Color Kid by Chris Schweizer

For the next subject in my continuing series of Legion of Substitute Heroes watercolor commissions from Chris Schweizer's Patreon rewards, I chose Ulu Vakk aka Color Kid. Ulu is one of those characters who is potentially extremely powerful, but since he's a Sub, he rarely gets to show off what al he can do. He not only changes the color of things, but their very properties, as when he changed Kryptonite from green to blue. He can camouflage himself and others, blind opponents by turning their eyes black, and of course he could beat a Green Lantern by turning everything yellow. I'd love to see more exploration of his powers one day. Chris did his usual excellent work here, showing off a fun Color Kid in his original costume. I love the hair and the face a lot.
