Description

Great symbolic cover image of Venom, Anti-Venom, Spider-Man & Black Cat in the mouth of Maniac (Lee Price.) Ryan Stegman really worked his magic on this one.

So much stuff happened during the Venom Inc. story line that I cannot possibly summarize it all. But the main villain was Lee Price, a very bad man, who originally encountered the Venom symbiote when he was working for the Black Cat's gang. Later he managed to separate Mania from her symbiote, taking the symbiote for himself and rechristening himself Maniac. He returned to New York and forcibly recruited other super villains by infecting them with pieces of the symbiote. He even managed to take control of Spider-Man for a while in an attempt to kill Anti-Venom.

Things came to a head in this issue (Venom Inc. Omega) when Maniac grew to a colossal height, forcing Venom, Anti-Venom, Spidey and Black Cat to join forces to do everything in their power to stop him.

So happy to add this cover to my collection. (Thanks, James!)

The things we have to do for this guy to get a dental checkup. Is that a carrot stuck between his teeth back there? Please tell me it’s a carrot. Another beauty piece. And great reminder to brush your teeth kids or superhero’s will force your mouth open for it to be cleaned.
