Description
Oskari "Oki" Raisanen (1889-1950) was a cartoonist in Finland in the early part of the 20th century, and is now all but forgotten. In his day he was known for his editorial cartoons in the 30s and all the way through the war, and especially for his folk humor cartoon illustrations, such as the one here, depicting rural Finland and its inhabitants.
