Description

Ivan Reis's Lady Death: The Rapture #2 page 10 (Chaos, 1999). They don't call her Lady Death for nothing, and this page gives you a good idea why. Ivan Reis brings us a rendering of this lethal lady that cuts to the bone. In spite of the subject matter, there is a finesse that Reis gives this work that is beautiful to behold. There are details included that seem illuminated by an other-worldly light which freezes the elements of this chaotic scene in mid-moment. Add to this his lovely rendering of Lady Death herself and you can see why she has become such a hit with the fans. The art has an approximate image area of 10" X 15". It's a killer page!
