DescriptionNow that Batman: Damned #1 has come out and generated tons of press, maybe it's time to sit back and just enjoy the art. This is the page 3 splash from the book and, like all Bermejo's work on this title, it's meticulously detailed and absolutely stunning. As I understand it, Bermejo only finished the cover and 6 interior pages by hand and did the rest of the book digitally. While that troubles me as a comic art collector, it DOES mean that this splash page is even rarer than it would be otherwise. Enjoy!Social/Sharing |

Nice piece, Bill! Love Bermejo's style and intense detail...they should hire him to redesing the DC universe film costumes!

Wow!!! What an amazing piece to proudly add to your collection. Bravo on pulling the trigger and making this piece happen. I just got a sketch cover by Lee at SDCC and I love it. His style is just simply incredible. Enjoy it!!!

I was hoping this page would show up on CAF and I''m happy to se that it landed in your collection Bill! Congrats on scoring one of the few actual pieces of original art from Damned. This one is a beauty.

It's a splash, but it could be easily used as a cover. So it perfectly fits to your amazing collection!

Lee Bermejo always blows me away, and this piece is no exception. Seriously, the guy is a true master. And this is such a stunning Batman splash (and as you say, so rare!). Congrats!
