About the only way I can get new major pieces these days is by trading and being an Elias, A Black Cat as well as a pre-code horror fan I was happy to give up a piece to get this one.

Thinking about it what is most interesting about this 1951 cover is that the old Witch is getting ready to do in the Black Cat on the very cover where the comic begins the transition from a super heroine book to a horror one. The cover is symbolic of the end of the Golden Age superhero age and the beginning of the precode age when horror and other genre books predominate.
