Description

I'd read Marvel's A Sailor's Story and its sequel A Sailor's Story Book Two: Wind, Dreams, and Dragons by Sam Glanzman. He was a sailor on the destroyer USS Stevens during the war and became a comic book artist. I commissioned the artist to do the light cruiser USS Oakland and the heavy cruiser USS San Francisco. This is a Roman army page which caught my attention at auction.
