WOW!!!!!!
I had my eye on that piece. Excellent buy!
Holy moly, Bill. That's a fantastic cover by a team of fantastic artists. That's a grail.
Wow! That’s a show-stopper. Love the combo of Kane’s dynamic anatomy and Romita’s lush, textured inks. So much depth on the page! And love that classic Kane pose as Spidey literally breaks through the cover—nobody did action like Gil!
Great pick up ! Always loved the vulture on this one
Wonderful cover Bill! Congrats!
Dynamic battle image, and so beautifully drawn, WOW! Great grab!
I could study that Spidey all day long. The figurework and linework are just vintage Kane/Romita. You obviously enjoyed your convention weekend. Just wish I was there to meet you. Congrats on this beauty!
Wowww... Spectacular Cover, great Bill
Mesmerizing composition, congrats!
A great depiction of the classic battle between Spidey and the Vulture - congrats!
Oh my word...... WHAT A GEM !
Awesome Spidey cover and huge SDCC pick-up! Congrats Bill!
You simply couldn't help but buy a comic book with such a cover! Classic and... Amazing :)
Standing tall on the loftiest peak of Spidey artists are Ditko, Romita, and Kane/Romita... all others are the foothills. Here's a perfect example of what made the Kane/Romita artist pairing so compelling... what a wonderful cover!
great choice and a perfect Kane Spider-Man pose - wonderful
You should be delighted - great cover! Really love the composition and the classic Kane Spider-Man falling back pose. Great stuff all around.
Blackie had a nice little run as the new Vulture until old man Adrain thumped the lil whippersnapper.
One more awesome addition to your stunning collection. Congrats!
Great Spidey cover!
That is an amazing cover, love the dynamic Spiderman pose.
Just wow. A perfect Vulture vs Spidey image
Absolutely outstanding cover!
Kane/Romita is a fantastic team-up of penciller and inker. Super example!!!!
What a perfect example, what a stunning image, big congrats Bill!!
Superb cover by one of my fav Spider-man art teams! Huge congrats Bill!
Bronze Age Spidey is the best Spidey! Congrats!
AWESOME !!!
Man, another killer add, Bill! I love how, like here, these older covers incorporate the character images with the lettering! Here, the breaks in panel make for a grand splash effect that makes you wanna do what a cover is supposed to make you wanna do...open up and see what's inside straight away! Congrats!
Another spectacular Kane cover. I love the way he drew both Spidey and the Vulture partially coming out of the black cover frame in order to get that 3 dimensional effect!
Epic Spidey battle cover by 2 of the alltime greats.
Spectacular, dynamic, exceptional !
Amazing art!! Kane and Romita, great master cover!!!
I use to check out this cover every so often and now I have a new place to view it. Congrats Bill!
I have to drop another comment. .outstanding cover!
Good times. .
Congratulations on a classic cover by two of the greatest Spider-Man artists! The layout with the Vulture's wing breaking the frame at the top and Spider-Man at the bottom is incredible!!
Power cover !
Really love the new covers on the reprint issues from the 70s, this one is really outstanding!
Kane's Spidey is one of my favorites. Still lithe and athletic, but with real substance in the figure. He captures something that Ditko left behind in the character that doesn't always translate. This is a perfect example, and of course Romita's inks are instantly recognizable and a hand-in-glove fit for Kane's style.
