Alan Davis - Excalibur 67 - page 18 - Phoenix vs Sentinels

Out of Alan's extensive (and extraordinary) body of work, the two series I miss most are Clan Destine and Excalibur.  I thought Clan Destine was gone far too soon and Excalibur (although part of the family of X-titles) never quite gained the popularity of it's big brothers.  But I loved the characters and the stories.  Especially the later issues that put emphasis on humor.  Maybe that's why it didn't quite fit in with the rest.  In any case, this is an absolutely GORGEOUS page!  Of course you could probably say that about anything Alan does.  That consistency is what makes him one of the industry's all time greats.  Congratulations my friend.

So awesome!  An action packed page, some great shots of Rachel (especially the lower left panel), and...Sentinels!  I love their design and love Davis/Farmer's rendition here!  I'm looking for my own Excalibur example - congrats on getting yours!  It's a beaut!
