DescriptionSpider-Man 2099 #1 was released yesterday! Yaaayyyy!!In honor of that, I thought I would post a cover that is a definite grail for me. To say it took a lot of time and effort to secure this one would be the understatement of the year. But it was SO worth it, and I am very grateful to the person who sold it to me. I LOVED Spider-Man 2099 when it hit the stands in 1992. I was going through some confusing and stressful times in my life back then, but through it all this title always brought me great joy. Sincere congrats, Paul! I feel like a Leonardi Spidey 2099 cover is one of the hardest gets out there for us 90s Marvel fans. And you got a GREAT one with the titular character front and center and from a very early issue?! Wow. The Leonardi/Williamson duo can do no wrong IMO. Sounds like this pick up took some effort - congrats again!

Congrats on being today's feature in our community newsletter and it's a bit wild. As I have been in your gallery a handful of times but I have never seen this monster piece before. Congrats good buddy, this is a home run.

Thanks for the great comment! Had you not left it, I probably wouldn't have known this cover was highlighted today! And I'm totally thrilled that it was. It's one of my absolute favorites, and acquiring it took a long time. I'm still so grateful to the previous owner for parting with it.
