Description
I was really happy with the enthusiastic response I received from my Andrew Wildman Black Cat post the other day, so tonight I thought I'd share a fantastic '90s Spider-Man 2099 cover by Andrew that I've had tucked away.

All you see of Doctor Doom is his metallic clenched fist, but that's really all it takes to create a real sense of foreboding for our hero, especially since Spidey's webbing is being grabbed by said fist.

So thrilled to have this one in my collection!

Andrew did a fantastic job on this cover!  Been stashed aways in the vault for a while?

Not bad.  Hard for me to associate anyone but Leonardi on this book, but Wildman seems a very capable artist.  Of course that giant fist just tickles my hand fetish.  LOL

Actually this one is by Andrew Wildman. He drew the covers for issues 33 & 34 after brief stints by Joe St Pierre (26-29) and Roger Robinson (30-32). Andrew also did the covers for 38 and 40-42.

Great cover! I'll admit, my first impression was like.. Spidey is about to get a giant fist smash to the groin!😰😯.

Another fantastic cover that is sitting right where it belongs, in your collection! What a great composition by Andrew Wildman, with some great details! I love the "Web of Doom" treatment, between the spider webs for "web" and the Doom eyes in the 2 O's of Doom.... Thanks for finally sharing this one!!

Digging the inks here, Paul.  2099 has a suit where you can really see differences in artist styles and I've always dug that quality about it.  A cover that definitely makes you wanna see what's up inside, too.  Congrats!
