Description

For this 2019 New Year's Eve, I thought I'd post one of my favorite DC covers from the mid 1990s. During this time, I was traveling a lot for work, and I would try to pick up the occasional DC or Marvel comic from the rack of whatever city I was currently in. I remember this particular comic catching my eye because of the great poses of the two powerhouses, as well as the nice city background. I also really liked the way "World's Finest" was incorporated into the scene as a kind of neon marquee underneath the characters.

I included a pic of the back of the artwork, because there is some cool stuff there.

I hope everyone has a very fun and very safe New Year's Eve, and here's to an amazing 2020!

A great cover for exactly every reason you pointed out. I love the touch of having the heroes sandwiched between those beautiful buildings and the great World's Finest neon marquee! Happy New Year!
