Classic Powers cover for the Ballantine book New Maps of Hell by Kingsley Amis, 1960.
I've always loved this cover with Powers signature surreal landscape, stylized SF elements, and those terrific little alien "beasties". Very excited to add this little gem to our collection :)

I have to admit, I was VERY excited to have the opportunity to acquire this piece -- classic Powers from my favorite period! It has a cool provenance too. It comes from the collection of David Kyle (Author, Artist, and famed First Fandom member). He could always be found at major SF&F conventions until his passing in 2016 at the ripe age of 97. Super nice guy.
