DescriptionA classic cover by Powers for the Jack Finney collection The Third Level (Dell, 1959). I once owned the more minimal back cover but now finally have the front cover!A great example of Powers surreal illustrative style (with perhaps a nod to Dali). This image has always reminded me of some of the Twilight Zone title imagery, which I suspect was influenced by Powers. Mixed media 20 x 15 Social/Sharing |
