Description

From Heritage - Mickey's Elephant Mickey and Bobo Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1936).
Mickey has just completed construction of a new house for his pet elephant Bobo in this matching pair of original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings. This Dave Hand-directed short, co-starring Pluto and was released to theaters on 10/10/36. The drawings are rendered in graphite with red pencil highlights and can be seen together around the 1:08 mark. Mickey measures 3.5" tall and has the number 52 in the lower right corner and Bobo measures 4" tall with the number 5 in the lower right. Light handling. Condition is Fine.

My notes: I am a sucker for affordable 80+ year old Disney production art. Since the individual animator for this scene is unknown I will credit the director, Dave Hand.
