DescriptionBrilliant action page from World War Hulk - Hulk pages don't get much better than this.Romita Jr is firing on every one of his many talented cylinders, channeling some really strong Frank Miller vibes with the help of Janson's brilliantly stylised inking, particularly in panels 1 and 3 - look at that hatching, the expressiveness, the cross-hatching giving weight where it's most needed. Pitch perfect graphic storytelling, not a line wasted. Masterpiece. You can keep your Picassos, your Renoirs and your Van Goghs in your silly museums. This beauty belongs on my walls!
