DescriptionI like the layout that Bright ended up going with here. The top three panels close-up with Storm Shadows Arashikage spell, almost as if the reader were Snake Eyes. Then Snake-Eyes jumps out of the plane, a great action shot mid-jump with the open bay doors and sky framing him. I like the way the first two panels show Snake Eyes falling away while Storm Shadow weighs the cost of his decision to put Snake Eyes back into the field while his sister is in a coma. Then the last panel gives a really nice view of his face from the moon light. It's just a cool scene. The meaning behind it Chapter 2: continued from p.20 Not long after the exchange, I had re-read the two comics multiple times and was ready to reunite with my beloved toy. I began getting antsy about how my ace in the hole (the pilots name was actually Ghostrider) was overstaying its welcome at my Richards house. One day at school, in the process of asking Richard about the status of my X-19, a school mate of ours blurts out "thanks for the jet, I hope you like the blah, blah, blah that you traded me". I was confused so I asked Richard what the other kid was talking about, "yeah I traded the jet for the blah, blah, blah he had" Richard said. "Yeah, the X-19 is now in my possession and I am not interested in trading it right now" the other kid said, "Sorry". Richards demeanor was smugly matter of fact, he said he considered our loan to be something of a permanent thing, especially once he had something he didn't care as much about to use as capitol in a deal for something he did really want. I should've done something, anything but I was always told not to hit when angry even if that's what the twerp deserved, so I considered my options and decided that even though I had lost the battle, I was going to win the war by reading those fucking comics as many times as I could in hopes of squeezing every last ounce of enjoyment out of them in an attempt to feel like I didn't get totally screwed by a so-called friend, Dick. So now I'm an adult and have forgotten all about it (hahaha yeah right). I start collecting comic art and what do I find one glorious day? This and the next page! I won't go into all it took but suffice to say, I am very grateful to have these pieces now that I can enjoy them and yes, even though the X-19 was badass, these are hands down the best part of that deal!
