DescriptionWilson McCoy, The Phantom's 2nd artist worked the Phantom after Ray Moore retired from injuries sustained in WW2.This piece of art was originally stored in Lee Falk's summer house in Cape Cod, then after Lee's death in 1999 Elizabeth moved his storage to her new house elsewhere. (Location confidential for her privacy) It was at that time in 2014, she assigned an agent to support her selling selected Phantom and Mandrake pieces from the collection at some Comiccon like events. After that, I had the chance to meet Elizabeth and discuss over lunch about Lee, the art collection and several other topics. The art pictured has only one Phantom drawn, but it's a significant pose and re-used on several publications in recent years. It's for sale, but prefer to discuss price with interested buyers. * Sale will include personally signed Certificate of Authenticity from Elizabeth Falk. Social/Sharing |
