DescriptionThe Phantom, original Sunday comic strip art, from June 15th 1947.Lee Falk estate item, it will be sold with a signed certificate of Authenticity from Elizabeth Falk. This piece of art was originally stored in Lee Falk's summer house in Cape Cod, then after Lee's death in 1999 Elizabeth moved his storage to her new house elsewhere. (Location confidential for her privacy) It was at that time in 2014, she assigned an agent to support her selling selected Phantom and Mandrake pieces from the collection at some Comiccon like events. After that, I had the chance to meet Elizabeth and discuss over lunch about Lee, the art collection and several other topics. Social/Sharing |
