These Capitan Walter covers are all very nice. Was the logo painted directly onto the art?

I have many original covers of Capitan Walter in my collection, in many of them the logo was painted everytime onto the original. To day with the PC is very easy to duplicate a logo but in that era there was special artists to do titles and logos . TKS to visit
