Description

I discovered Strangers in Paradise late, but it was a comic that I really enjoyed reading. I actually purchased the first volume from Terry and Robyn at SDCC several years back, read it, then went back the next day to buy the next volume. And then again the next day for the next book.

I've been on the hunt for a page from SiP for a while now, which is difficult when so many great pages have already been sold. I picked this up from Terry at C2E2 in 2018, and although it doesn't check all the boxes I had in mind for an SiP piece (no Francine), it's a really fun page to add to my collection. It features Casey and Katchoo talking while David's off in the background getting news that he's a billionaire.

Artistically, I love seeing pages from earlier in the SiP run when Terry drew characters in a more cartoony/animated style, and the first panel captures this really well. Also, it features zip-a-tone, which I love seeing on original artwork.
