Description

Intini wanted to play a little bit with Pete, Mickey Mouse's main adversary since the very beginning, a character he didn't have many chances to illustrate in the stories.

Here's a watercolor piece showing a frowning Pete in the suburbs hurrying to go somewhere and probably thinking about his next heist. Based on his clothes, we can guess it's a little bit cold out there.
The power of this image for me is about what's not telling us... we clearly understand Pete is up to something but we can only make a guess.

Still one of the most complex and fascinating Disney characters. And that's no wonder, for basically he's a cat :)
