DescriptionI loved reading the early '90s Sleepwalker title, and I remember this issue fondly because of the upside-down "Sleepwalker" title logo (to match the upside-down Sleepwalker). And now I see that Joe and Michael signed their names upside-down as well. Plus, Sleepwalker's hand is breaking through the upper left corner box. So fun! Also, when you are dealing with a character named Sleepwalker, what better nemesis to bring into play than Nightmare! I think it's cool that you also get Rick Sheridan in this cover image. The four main cover artists for this title were Bret Blevins, Kelly Krantz, Art Nichols and Joe Quesada. Now I can happily say that I own one cover by each artist. And I get to add another fabulous inker to my CAF -- the talented Mr. Michael Bair. Social/Sharing |

Great Cover, very nice details in the inking. The hand going through the marvel box is so creative, love it!!

Nice way to cap off the SW cover quadfecta, Paul! Great layout to this piece (big surprise - Quesada can do everything) and I'm digging those meticulous inks. I definitely think SW is underrated as far as it's visuals overall - so much good stuff to see from all of the artists involved. And they were great at incorporating the title and other lettering on the cover into the image itself - a prime example here. Really digging this one. Big congrats, man!

Very cool cover. Always thought it was a great Nightmare image. Bair really makes this cover look good. Bravo.

Looks like Sleepwalker has entered The Upside Down! I looked at Rick Sheridan and thought, "Ooh, Blevins!". Then I saw the signatures. A crazy cool visual feast for all the reasons you mention!

A Quesada cover is always a win. This cover with it's upsidedown-fun and the fantastic linework... A grail! Congrats, Paul

Can't believe the editor missed this. If I can just flip this ship around I may be able to run this for, let's say, another 21 issues.
