DescriptionGorgeous page from Gibbons in his prime, penciling and inking John Stewart's Green Lantern in most panels. Some great Lantern action here, with John creating a giant flashlight, a shield and what looks like plugs! Some excellent flying poses, too. All the while, Eclipso leers moodily and froths on about Murder Moons!Classic Green Lantern drawn to perfection by Dave Gibbons at his 1980s peak. It doesn't get much better! Thanks to Joseph at www.britcomicsart.com for sorting this marvellous page out for me. You couldn't have a better rep for the best in British art! Social/Sharing |

Great great page with smart use of open space in panel 3 to create depth.

Thanks for stopping by, Fred - and well spotted. Gibbons is a master draughtsman and knows all the tricks of the trade! This page is soooo much fun, a real Silver Age look and it's a joy to have a GL piece where he's using the ring so extensively to create all the toys! 😁
