Where are my manners? I've had these superb digital colours from the amazing Simon Gough for a while now and failed to post them in my gallery. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Previously...

Is this a case of gilding the lily? This incredible Marvel Two in One 66 commission, penciled by Darryl Banks, was already a personal favorite and the most viewed item in my CAF gallery... and that was BEFORE Bob Almond added his amazing inks to the drawing.

Marvel 2-in-1 # 66 featured the Thing and the Scarlet Witch squaring off against Hugh Jones (a.k.a. a villain that artist Jerry Bingham rightly referred to as "The Accountant" in an email) and the Serpent Crown. I have included the issues's original cover by George Perez and Terry Austin in the image above. Darryl's obvious affection for the source material and his considerable artistic talents resulted in an exceptional re-interpretation of the events from that comic. Bob's inks are the icing on this mind-blowing artistic cake.

Darryl's pencils were completed in 2006.

Bob's inks were completed in 2010.
