This is a 1986 poster concept for "Highlander", created by Corey Wolfe while working on the film's campaign. Here's some funny background about the making of this, in Wolfe's own words:

"About five of us artists were called into the design firm at 5 PM in Hollywood. Very secretive. They had very little photo reference for us at that point but needed to see a very tight comp from each of us. The kicker: they were all due at 8 AM the next day!... It was hilarious how bedraggled we all looked when we dragged our asses in at that early hour having not slept. And I don’t drink coffee! That’s the only painting I ever did using my father as a model. And I was amazed at how willing he was to act like an idiot with a sword. He even screamed for that shot!"
