Unbelievable! Another artistic flame snuffed out by cancer.

I am absolutely stunned. He was only a few years older than I am.

We are battling so many things in today's world. But we can never forget one of our oldest enemies is this vile and horrible disease.

My thoughts and prayers to all his family and friends. What a loss.

Van Halen went through 3 different singers, but have only had one guitar player.

They never needed another one................

Sad day indeed. Just after I posted this, went on YouTube to watch him in better times. What a fricking waste. 2019 was the worst year for me. Could not imagine 2020 being worse, but it sure is trying. Oh, did I mention I freaking HATE cancer!

Oh, man. I just learned from your post. Van Halen was the soundtrack to a lot of my youth. 2020 is a cornucopia of suck. RIP, Eddie.

Musical genius and inspiration / influence on so many people regardless of being a musician or not. Remember hearing their debut album as a 7 year old kid and being totally mesmerized by what I heard. Huge loss, but his musical contribution will last forever. RIP and FCancer.
