Description

I went through a phase where I was picking up more indy ogns about 10 to 15 years ago and one of the books I picked up was Deep Sleeper. Written by Phil Hester, illustrated by Mike and published by IDW it just resonated with me.

The panel layout is dynamic throughout most of the book. Reminds me of Huddleston's current work on Decorum and a lot of the books from Marvel and DC back in the 70s. Even this page, panel as it may be, is disjointed.

Was lucky enough to pick this piece up from Felix Comic Art on their 2020 NYCC (from home) release. I would have picked up a couple of other pieces if I was faster.

The piece itself is 19x24 on vellum.
