DescriptionThis week, I am going to feature Spider-Man interior pages by Humberto Ramos.(Thanks, Vik V, for that idea!) Since the Amazing Spider-Man #850 anniversary issue just came out, and I finally got a chance to read it today, I thought I'd start out with some interiors from the issue that I was able to pick up from Humberto's rep, Joseph Damon. I guess you could summarize this particular issue with the adage "Politics and Super-Heroing make strange bedfellows." Spidey has had to team up with his enemies in the past, like when he teamed up with Venom to fight Carnage back in ASM 361-363. In this issue, Spidey has to team up with his greatest enemy, Norman Osborn (the infamous Green Goblin), to fight Sin-Eater, who now has the power (and size) of Juggernaut. What I especially love about this double page spread, besides all the action, is the wonderful cover quality image on the left board. Social/Sharing |

I haven't seen this inker before. Great page with Spidey and Goblin. Are we seeing Ramos for the next 2 weeks?

Thank you for your comment! Yeah,Victor Olazaba is one of Humberto's main inkers. He's awesome. And yes, I'm gonna feature Ramos Spidey interiors for the rest of this week.

Oh, so he doesn't just happen to resemble the Juggernaut, he litereally has his powers? How'd he get them? Did he steal the crimson band of Cytorak?!? That just came to mind, by the way. I feel like thats what Juggy's powers came from, or at least how I remember his origin which I haven't read since I was a young teen. By the way, you know where I've always stood vis a vis Ramos (and other artists with non-realistic styles), but as he chas continued to tweak his style over these past few years, I've actually begun to appreciate looking at his stuff!

That is a very cool DPS. The first panel is especially nice, and the fight action is great. Spidey grabbing the face floss made me chuckle, for some reason. Thanks for sharing the artist, I'm going to check out his work. Thanks and congrats!

Best of both worlds when it comes to this piece, Paul. A GREAT splashy shot of Spidey and this arch nemesis (but teaming up?!) on the left followed by some killer fast paced action oriented storytelling on the right! A nice flow from top to botton on those panels, and the Ramos/Olazaba detailing on the left splash - next level! Congrats, man!

Thanks for sharing, Paul. It's absolutely amazing, you got the best covers AND interiors by Humberto! You are the one and only Humbertoman!!! This DPS rocks!!! Great huge left panel with Spidey and the Goblin. But somehow, I like that panel on right hand, where Spidey got crashed to the wall. Stunning art! Congrats, Paul
