DescriptionSix years ago, I picked up the cover to the #2 issue to the Official Handbook of the Ultimate Marvel Universe, featuring characters from the Ultimates and the Ultimate X-Men. Then last year this cover showed up for auction in eBay, and I was able to grab it.So I am posting both covers tonight! Congrats, Paul! 2 great covers tonight but I prefer this one. Yes, Spidey's featured BUT I've always dug the Ultimate versions of GG, DD, and Venom - such different and cool takes. And all 3 are here as pencilled by Bags!

So there were only 2 issues to this particular Marvel Universe series? Either way, so cool that you owned the #2 cover for 6 years and then the #1 cover suddenly popped up on eBay. You no doubt dropped the hammer on everyone and knew this one would be yours the second you saw it appear! Congrats, man, great looking piece.

What a great grouping of characters! I loved OHOTMU when I was a kid, and loved reading all the updates to see how powers changed and who was added. And great Bagely art, too. Congrats!
