Back in 2007, I got the idea to do
a series of commissions in which artists re-interpret entire panel pages from Marvel Two in One 76 (the first comic I ever bought as a kid) in their style, using only a re-created script and reference images to work from. A short 13 years later, the cover and all the story pages have now been re-done.
This page with Bobby Drake and gal pal Terri Sue Bottoms doesn't have any heroes in costume, but John Hebert nails the story telling while mixing in a surprise appearance from pro wrestler Ken Patera as one of the circus goons. This is inked with aplomb by Bill Anderson.
I have multiple commissions from John and Bill in my gallery. I hope others will seek out their work for commissions of their own.
