Description
Probably the most famous piece in my collection and one of my favorites.

This series immediately followed the Infinity Gauntlet miniseries and started with so much promise.

It's one of those covers that you instantly recognize no matter which era you read comics in.

Imo it's also Angel Medina's best work.Having Terry Austin on the inks doesn't hurt either.

Just a beautiful page.

Thanks to Dan Pottick and also to Robert Wayne Dennis on this one.

I won't lie, this one hurts. I didn't buy it when I should have (but I wasn't "there" yet).

Fa-bu-lous cover and one of Angel's most recognizable. Congrats :)

The magnificence of the 90s, the association of two great artists and a memorable story. You have here a great piece of cosmic book history, congratulations.

Wow. You have the infinity Gauntlet. You can do anything with that thing. How about you whisk up some maple syrup and send to me. Going through it really fast over here.

Oh, yeah, one of Medina's best and that's saying something.  Truly one of those pieces of OA you can go back to and just pore over from corner to corner.  Congrats, man!

I don't know why I've never commented on this, but I love this cover. Warlock and the Infinity Watch #1 is one of the most cosmic comic books ever. Angel Medina really rose to the occasion when he penciled this. Everything about the cover is just right. I love the symmetry. The cross formed by the cosmic rays pouring out of the Iinfinity Gauntlet. The heroic pose of Warlock standing amidst the darkness of outer space. It's one of the most classic comic book images I can think of. Terry Austin's inks beautifully enhance Medina's pencils, giving them a gravitas that a story like these requires. Together, Medina and Austin, together with wrioter Jiim Starlin, delivered a story worthy of its cosmic origins. Congratulations on a fabulous addition to your terrific comic art collection.
