Description

This one hits on all cylinders for me. I'm a HUGE Doc Savage fan and I've always appreciated the art of Pat Broderick, yet never had any OA of his.

This is the last page cliffhanger splash of 'Doc Savage, Curse of the Fire God' #3 featuring Doc and the gang's first encounter with the villainous namesake of the mini-series.

Pat has the rare ability to produce something cartoony while preserving all the drama of artists whose style is more "realistic". Other than the animators of the Fleischer Superman cartoons, very few artists other than Broderick can pull this off.
