Amazing Joker page ! Benes really captured the character. Any idea why he didn't do the art for the published issue ?
I couldn't find out anything definitive, but I did find a couple of clues to the answer. #1: About a month later, Benes posted that he had been "living under pressure for a long time" and needed a break from drawing. #2: He drew the previous issue, and the one after. So my guess is that he fell behind on issue 15, couldn't make the deadline, and they had Sampere finish that issue so Benes could get back on track with 16.
