I really connected with Daredevil after reading The Man Without Fear. Everything in that book just worked. The story, the writing and the art just blew my mind. Frank Miller may be the mastermind behind the story but John's art elevated the book and made what Daredevil is today. Even the Netflix show captured John's vision and made Daredevil a mainstay in pop culture. In 2020, I found out John did a bunch of sketches at a signing and they would be auctioned with all proceeds going to St. Jude's hospital. I saw the Daredevil and just jumped on it. Great artist, great character, great cause.
