DescriptionWas lucky enough to buy this amazing Philip Tan. The texture on it really adds to the composition and Spidey looks really tough. Tan's style looks loose at first glance, but it really adds to the composition.Social/Sharing |

Loads of style and the mixed media really does add texture.

I love Philip Tan's Spidey too! That rough, loose style only makes Spidey look tougher!

I completely agree, in person the additional texture enhances the image.

Amazingly the first Spidey by Tan I've seen, and he hit a home run!

Great pose and large eye lenses, reminding us of McFarlane but still all Tan. The inexactness of the weblines is a really nice touch! Congrats!

Thanks! Yeah it really does have a McFarlane vibe, while still remaining true to his style.

Great, moody Spider-Man piece. Makes me want to see more Spidey from Tan.

Agreed - he really brought the emotion into this piece. I haven't seen any other Spideys from Tan - I'm sure they exist, but I agree I'd like to see more.
