Description

James Robinson's Starman series is a killer read, packed with these deep, heartfelt moments -Check it out if you haven't there is nothing else quite like it. This page shows Jack Knight back in time, hanging with his pops as a young dude, only to find out the old man is wrestling with some heavy trauma and depression. This comic is seriously underrated.

Choosing this page was a bit of a brain-buster, since there there was multipel original pages to chose from when I bought this. Page 17 in the same issue had snappy dialogue and killer expressions, but after a solid 10-minute ponder, I went with this one. The fifth panel, where Ted Knight stares out of that massive window, like prison bars? Pure genius. It screams, "trapped in his own mind," and that's just too cool to pass up.
