Dinosaur Sketch (Arthur Adams) 2002

Like so many of us, I am a big fan of the work of Arthur Adams. Easily in the top five of my all-time favorite comic artists. Never thought my budget would ever allow me the chance to add a piece of his into my collection. I lean towards only published work. This treasure was sitting at Anthony Snyder's booth during the 2020 C2E2 Show and changed all that. (Thanks for the assist Kat!) Just a simple black marker sketch on a piece of comic backer board, but means so much more to me. Have it matted and framed behind UV glass in my home office. For my collection having a dinosaur by Adams might even be better than a hero sketch.


Arthur dated this "6-2002" like he often does. Wish I knew more of the history to the origin of this sketch. If anyone has information that would be awesome. Perhaps it was a member here who originally owned this piece? If so, please share the story with me!


(UPDATE: I picked up two Ultimate X series interior pages in 2022. Bringing some published Arthur Adams into my collection! Still treasure this piece as well.)
