DescriptionI've been admiring Harren's work for some time, but hadn't acquired anything yet, so I am delighted to have been able to grab this page from Ultramega, which is a great read and teaming with Harren's visual trademarks. I just love the environment he created for this story and I decided to get one of the 5 pages (out of a whopping 44) in this issue that doesn't include a single visible character (well, OK, other than the truck and the city...). The composition of the full page really appeals to me, and I'm tickled by the truck design and massive footprint, but it's the leaning buildings and winding highways that initially caught my eye. My hat's off to the lucky collector who managed to snag the entire first issue (60 amazing pages + a world beater cover...!).Thanks to Felix for another smooth and enjoyable transaction! Thanks for taking a look! Social/Sharing |

This page stood out to me while reading. Quiet but effective visual storytelling with the Harren style. Love the truck design.

I love this page too. I'm with you that the truck design and destroyed city feels so cool. Really great addition! Huge congrats!

Didn't appreciate this page properly when I read the issue but was super impressed with it when you posted the scan. Congrats on a great snag, as well!

the big action pages are more fun and easy to do, this quite moments are where the artist really shines and shows how to keep the viewer and the story going. James really shines on this page, those bottom 3 panels going through the city is excellent. I also loved the earlier page where it was a wall of the city and some piping. so simple but so good. Nice pick up.

It's pages like this that let me know how much Harren enjoys making comics - he made me feel like I was on this ride through the wasteland. In every panel the smoke is a little different, the car has a different personality, the buildings show something else... what a great page!
