DescriptionLast Thursday I ended my Ultimate Spider-Man Theme Week with the 1st appearance of Ultimate Deadpool. So for this week I decided to continue with some more fun Deadpool pieces. And what better way than to start with a piece drawn by Deadpool's creator, the great Rob Liefeld! I LOVED the Deadpool Corps series. Oh man, those were some of the funniest and craziest stories you could imagine. I got some great belly laughs from them. I mean ... Headpool and Dogpool? C'MON! Hahaha! I miss those dudes. I also had the pleasure of meeting the outstanding inker of this piece, Adelso Corona, at a Comic Con. I actually had him do a cover recreation of Deadpool Corps #1, which he hit out of the ballpark. Stay tuned for more Deadpool as the week goes on. Thanks for looking! Social/Sharing |

I know I'll be in the minority here, but I want you to know that my favorite part of this piece is the giant, Baby Ultron!

Hahaha, giant Baby Ultron. I actually thought that WAS Ultron until I checked the Marvel database for the comic. Turns out it's Protector-Bot, new from Hasbro, batteries not included.

It's the whole "Pool" clan! They are such a happy, dysfunctional, and psychotic family! Kind of like the Bundy's.

Protector-bot might be doing a great Ultron impression, but at least he's powered by Kirby Krackle. And are we not mentioning the light sabers? Liefield gave us all a gift that keeps on giving with Deadpool. This is a great splash battle scene, and I love the humor. SMAK! Congrats!

I guess I am in the minority here, having never read this series. But it is a dynamic cover, to say the least. Congrats.
