Description

Black Lightning finally gets the upper hand against crime-lord Tobias Whale on this dynamic battle page.

Writer Tony Isabella learned a lot from his time working at Marvel and writing characters such as the Kingpin. It's hard not to compare him to Tobias Whale.

Love this early work from Trevor Von Eeden who was only 16-17 years old when he penciled this issue from DC's first solo title to feature an African-American hero.
