The wonderful essence of narrative art shines in this opening page that precedes the title splash, retelling the origin of Magneto. Fantastic shadowing effects here. The Nazis' glowing eyes shining through the shadows cast by the helmets on their faces, create a unique and creepy mood. In the last panel, we see Magneto standing outside the Nazi base gate, the soldiers unaware this will not be a turkey shoot!
