Spider-Girl travels back in time to battle alongside the teenage versions of her father and the Human Torch.

I’m trying to remember whether this was the first issue of this series that I bought. Marvel wasn’t putting out too much at the time that captured my interest, so I decided to give this book a try based on my love for Olliffe’s run on Untold Tales of Spider-Man. Writer Tom DeFalco and the rest of the creative team managed to hook me onto this series, and I stayed with it through every threatened cancellation and every iteration until the end.
