I'm SO happy to add a piece of art by Jose Delbo!

And what a piece of art it is!

This is a GREAT piece of art... and so much FUN! The classic JLA capturing their arch villains!!!! (Large 14X8 art)

Delbo says it was published, but couldn't remember where. He thought it was a book or advertising from the early to mid 80's.

I have some thoughts on that though. I think given the clean style that this was likely a Super Powers tie in of some sort. My theory is it was an illustration for one of the "Super Powers: A Which Way Book" series. This series was aimed at young children who were encouraged to steer the JLA to victory over their foes. All the books were illustrated by Delbo.

When I have the time (lol), I'll collect the books and do some research. In the meantime, if any of you have an idea or a definitive answer, PLEASE let me know!

From the Villain line up, I'd agree that it is Super Powers related. Especially when Robin hangs his wares within Joker's reach around radius.
