Description

Frank Thorne's Red Sonja #6 page 3 (Marvel, 1977). From the Bronze Age Red Sonja series comes this Thorne's panel page from Red Sonja's "The Singing Tower' featuring exquisite panels of Sonja. This is a fine example of Thorne's legendary work on this feature. Thorne only worked on Sonja for about two years (1976 to 1978) before moving away from mainstream comics, so these pages are pretty special by definition. Thorne, who just passed away in March of this year at the age of 90, was a unique talent in the industry. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". In excellent condition.

Note: The wizard and some of the monsters on the left have been cut out and new pieces of board have been inserted and taped on the back. 1" x 3" and the other is 3.5" by 1.5" There are multiple pin holes in the top margin of the board.
